Guard Dog Body Armor’s Level IIIa ceramic 10”x12” plates are made from an ultralight UHMWPE meeting the NIJ standard 0101.06 Leve IIIa standards. These level 3a plates are single curl with a waterproof polyester cover and weigh and ultralight 15oz each!
The Terrier tactical vest is our smallest and most light weight plate carrier for all of our available bullet proof plates. It is crafted from a water-resistant Oxford fabric and INCLUDES removable magazine pouches. Our ballistic plates will fit securely and will not bounce around in the front and rear pouches. The back yolk shoulder pads are excellent for weight distribution and there is an extendable Grab Drag handle for emergency exfiltration. This vest has adjustable shoulder straps and an adjustable elastic weight band for a comfortable universal fit from small to 2XL.
Each sleeve consists of trauma pads and anti-spall layers. This sleeve is unique in its design as it is constructed in one piece to capture the spalling effect from projectiles if a projectile hits the enclosed steel armor plate. These sleeves provide the wearer multi-level protection all in one convenient and lightweight package. These sleeves are constructed of 5 layers of Kevlar with a 10mm thick trauma pad enclosed with 1000D Polyester fabric, making it one of the toughest sleeves on the market!
